After a year off, I've returned to LJ with a few more questions answered about what sort of person I am. Too bad I've come with an even bigger pile of them on my backside than when I left. I originally left LJ as a social experiment and to learn more about myself. Now that nearly a year's passed, I'm ready to tackle life by the horns, once more, while cluing you all in on the specifics.

A little about myself, huh?

Well, I'm a 21 year old college super-senior at Stony Brook University here on Long Island. I'm currently studying Biochemistry and Asian American Studies. I plan on going to medical school within the next few years. I'd like to be an ophthalmologist some day.

I'm originally from a small country called Moldova. Most people have no clue that this place even existed but for those that did, you get a gold star! I was born in Bălţi. Prior to coming to the US, I lived in Austria, in the Alps for two weeks and then Anzio, Italy, for two months. After that, it was straight to New York and I've been here since.

I'm fluent in English and Russian, am currently semi-fluent in Japanese (hope to get better over time, if I have any, that is) and have dabbled in Spanish and Italian. I'm a huge fan of languages and have made it a goal of mine to be fluent in 10 different ones with unique aspects sometime prior to senility.
